Too much of cricket caused exit from World Cup

As the BCCI argues, cricket is a game and occurance of injuries is nothing unusual. Ok, we aren’t kids, we also understand this. But how many days of cricket in a year increases occurance of injuries sharply? The limit has not been defined, but there is a limit for sure. BCCI never wants anyone to talk about this limit. Why? It is something which is known to all of us. Yes, cricket brings thousands of crores of money. This year’s IPL fetched Rs. 10,970 crores within a span of roughly 40 days. So, it is clear why the BCCI doesn’t want anyone to speak about all these. For the administrators in the BCCI, national pride is not so important as this Rs. 10,970 crores figure is.
The result? Exit of India from the T20 World Cup. Coach Gary Kirsten says a valuable point. He didn’t have enough time with players to discuss and setup strategy because of the IPL, and after IPL players had little time in hand to come home and go back to England. So, no net practice, no strategy discussions could be done. In IPL these sportsmen played opposite to one another. But in the Indian national team these same set of players need to form a team and win games. BCCI rubbished coach’s statement, as usual, because logical arguements is what BCCI will severely hate at this moment.
Team’s physio Nitin Patel’s report says top 5 players carried injuries into World Cup. BCCI rubbished this report again, as usual, because such reports speak bare truths which is unacceptable to the misers sitting in the board. When team captain M.S.Dhoni was asked by selectors who is fit and who is not, he said 2 or 3 players are more or less injured, but he is absolutely fit. Captain lied, physio’s report explains MSD’s injury as well. Why did MSD lie? No answers to this yet.
But we probably know, and this issue isn’t new. Indian players are divided into grades. Players like MSD, Yuvi etc. get Rs. 60 lakhs annually while players like Sehwag, RP Singh etc. get Rs. 40 lakhs annually. They play or not, they will get this as per contract. Apart from this, each player gets Rs. 2,50,000 for every test match they play, and Rs. 1,50,000 for every ODI. And, you all know about players’ contract money for IPL. MSD’s value is Rs. 6 crores, Yuvi’s 4.32 crores, Sehwag’s 3.85 crores…. the list is quite handsome. So add it up guys? And, don’t forget their brand values. Count every sponsor, every ad shoot and everything.
This is the answer why players go to play even when they are injured. This is the rude answer why India didn’t lift World Cup after Kapil Dev did. Today’s players cannot afford to stay out in rest. It would affect their bank balance. To hell with “INDIA” but “MONEY HAIN TO HONEY HAIN”:- This is Indian players’ moto now a days. Mind you guys, I am not blaming them!!! Absolutely NOT. Money is extremely important we all know. But what pains me most, they have become liars. And their bosses in BCCI constantly ignores the truth.
And who are the bosses in BCCI? See each guy’s record, all of them have cases pending in their names. Lalit Modi, accused of drug peddling and beating up someone in USA, then corruption charges in Rajasthan Cricket Assocn. Rajiv Shukla, a politician, need I say more? Sharad Pawar who just left, another politician, with excellent dark records. T20 Indian team’s manager, recently expelled from duties because of corruption ( in today’s news, watch it ). The list goes on and on. All basically criminals sitting in BCCI and doing money laundering business with the most popular game in India. So, India wins here and there, but doesn’t win major titles. Only last year’s T20 cup was an exception, which wasn’t carried forward this year.
Guys, remember those days when angry Indian mob stonned Sachin Tendulkar’s home?

Despite earning such huge income, the BCCI is still a Non-Profit Organization! An organization which earns Rs. 10,970 crores in 40 days is a Non-Profit Organization! Can we expect anything fair from this organization? Such badly reputed guys are sitting in the board only to grab money. We the spectators are held in ransom.
